Creating Space Group
This group meets on Wednesday mornings in term time from 10.30 am until midday in St Mary's Church. (Please check website or Church Office for dates.)
Bring your own hobby (painting/crochet/sewing/calligraphy etc), and enjoy the company of others as you work with your creativity. And enjoy the sense of space in your week!
Light refreshments are provided.
Arts and Craft Workshop
One of our first groups to be developed under Arts at BSM has been the art and craft workshops, led by a professional art teacher with her A level art students from a local school. These workshops have included painting, encaustic wax painting, felting and card making, all under expert guidance. The opportunity to create visual artwork has proved hugely popular with our community, mixing together all ages and abilities.

Meet the Author
A recent introduction to our Arts programme has been the informal opportunity to meet local authors in a nearby hospitality venue for a drink and discussion during an evening. The format is based on a relaxed interview, focused on the author's writings and lifestory, with plenty of opportunities for the audience to ask questions and chat with the author afterwards.
